Twenty years ago, I couldn’t find quality childcare for my daughter in New York City. The waitlists were endless. The costs were wild. So, I got licensed and started watching kids in my basement.
That decision changed my entire life.
I went from six kids in my basement to four licensed childcare centers. I built systems that worked so well that Bright Horizons acquired two of my locations. Then KinderCare acquired the other two. Both deals were worth millions.
I made every mistake you can imagine along the way. I almost quit more than once. And I learned things about running a childcare business that nobody tells you when you’re starting out.
That’s why I built The Childcare Collective. I want to hand you the roadmap I wish I’d had.
