The Childcare Collective
$2,000 Micro Grant Application
Childcare providers do vital work but often struggle to fund their programs. I created this grant to support daycare owners who deserve financial help to grow and improve—so you can focus on offering the best care without worrying about survival.
Why I Created This Grant
Let's face it - the childcare industry is the most underfunded sector in business. Tech founders raise millions for unproven concepts that may never help anyone, while childcare providers who are literally shaping our future struggle to get $5,000 to improve their programs.
When I was running Smarter Toddler, I had those dark nights wondering if I'd make payroll. The friends-and-family funding was tapped out, traditional loans felt impossible, and I felt completely alone. A simple, no-red-tape grant would have been a lifeline - the difference between closing my doors and serving hundreds more families.
That's exactly why this exists.
You're not just running a business - you're nurturing our most precious resource. You deserve support that recognizes the vital work you do. My goal is to grow this from one grant to ten, twenty, even a hundred grants, helping as many passionate childcare providers as possible.
Because the people caring for our children shouldn't have to choose between keeping the lights on and creating the programs kids deserve.
